Felixstowe Scribblers

On Tuesday 18th July a few close friends and I formed a committee and launched the ‘Summer Holiday Find Luke Campaign’. The aim of the campaign is to keep Luke’s disappearance in the public eye, the main ways in which we intend doing this are:

· By asking the general public to be vigilant and to be the eyes and ears of the campaign. Also, to be mobile publicity by displaying a flyer of Luke’s disappearance in their car. Flyers can be printed off of the http://www.blogger.com/ website. Anybody with a MySpace site can put a link to Luke’s site on it.

· We are appealing to both local and national companies to support the campaign by putting a hyperlink on their website to the http://www.blogger.com/ site and to display flyers prominently wherever appropriate, whether it is in premises or on vehicles.

· On Thursday 17th August it will be fourteen weeks since Luke was last seen; we intend to hold an evening to highlight Luke’s disappearance. The plan is to meet at the Zest nightclub, (Princes St, Ipswich) in the car park at 8pm and to walk the route Luke was known to have walked in the early hours of the morning of Friday 12th May. All support will be most appreciated and welcomed, but please do let me know by email as numbers have to be given to the police. http://www.blogger.com/

The police working on Luke’s case have been fantastic and are chasing up any lead that comes in, they believe that Luke maybe in the Ipswich area or that someone from the Ipswich area certainly knows something, however, because there is still no positive sighting of Luke since 4am on Thursday 12th May, the further a field the publicity goes the better.

Thanks to everyone of you in supporting me and Alicia and all that you are doing to help find Luke.
