Author Ruth Dugdall from Suffolk has been announced as the winner of the 2009 Luke Bitmead Writer’s Bursary, in a ceremony in Central London last night. Sandy Stafford is the new holder of the Bill Budner Trophy. In a very close contest her work 'So You Want to be a Mum' came out on top.
