The Royal Society of Literature invites entries for The V.S. Pritchett Memorial Prize.

STOP PRESS CALL FOR ENTRIES
The Royal Society of Literature invites entries from published or unpublished writers for The V.S. Pritchett Memorial Prize. Entries forms also available with SAE sent to The Secretary, The Royal Society of Literature, Somerset House Strand London WC2R 1LA. See www.rslit.org for more details ‘prizes’.

A prize of £1,000 will be awarded for a short story of 2,000-5,000 words. The closing date is NOW February 28th 07. Entries will be judged by Sebastian Barker, editor of The London Magazine, Candia McWilliam and Piers Paul Read, and the winning story will be published in The London Magazine. Entrants must be citizens of the UK or Republic of Ireland.
